Tippecanoe Valley 3, Culver 0
After a tough night on Monday, Valley returned home and swept Culver 25-10, 25-19, 25-18.
Mallory Durkes led the Vikings with eight kills and Mackaylie Costello and Ava Smith each had six winners. Brayden Baney had 21 digs and three aces and Macy Kirchenstien assisted on 21 points.
Valley’s JV withstood Culver 25-22, 25-24. Emma Patrick had three aces and three kills and Karegan Callahan added 12 digs.
Warsaw 3, Fort Wayne Carroll 1
The host Tigers landed a solid non-conference win in a 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-23 win against the Chargers.
Kaylee Weeks was swinging away, registering 19 kills to go with eight digs and a block. Kylie Smith had 11 digs and five aces, Melaina Hawblitzel had seven kills, four aces and two blocks, and Avery Hales added 37 assists, six digs, two aces and a block.
The Warsaw JV won 25-16, 25-21, led by Daihya Chupp’s 20 assists, three aces and three kills.
The Warsaw freshmen lost 25-22, 25-23. Eva Everest had 11 assists and five digs.
