Complaint Filed Against Syracuse McDonald’s

WARSAW — A customer of McDonald’s in Syracuse has filed a complaint after breaking a tooth while eating a Quarter Pounder.
Alexander Nasten, through his attorney, Travis McConnell, Warsaw, filed a civil tort claim against My Tre Glamma Management, owners of McDonald’s, 902 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, on Sept. 16 in Kosciusko County Superior Court 4.
The complaint states on Aug. 6, Nasten, who was unaware of unsafe material in his Quarter Pounder, bit into the sandwich breaking a tooth. He is claiming negligence against the business.
Court documents state Nasten suffered bodily injury including a permanent injury to the body as a whole, pain and suffering of both physical and mental nature, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment and loss of ability to lead and enjoy a normal life. Documents note the losses are either permanent or continuing and losses will be suffered in the future.
Nasten is asking the court for a judgment from the defendant in an amount commensurate with the damages and all other relief.
Attorneys for the business filed an appearance and motion for an enlargement of time on Sept. 28. A response or a motion by the defendant is to be filed with the court by Oct. 29.
