Seeking Re-Election
Dear Editor,
It is with great pleasure that I am announcing my candidacy for Kosciusko County Commissioner in the primary, May 2022.
I am completing my fourth four-year term as a commissioner, representing the residents of Kosciusko County.
I was born and raised in Kosciusko County on a farm near Pierceton. Parents later bought a farm south of Warsaw. Growing up, I helped on the family farm of more than 1200 acres where I learned how to get up early and get things done. This work ethic has helped as I serve as your county commissioner.
I attended Pierceton School, Claypool School and graduated from Warsaw Community High School. I attended National Barber College in Indianapolis.
I currently serve on the Kosciusko County Sherriff Reserve. I have served multiple positions from patrolman to the rank of captain. I currently serve as president of the county board of finance. I am a member of the Kosciusko County Solid Waste District, County Area plan commission, technical review board, president of board of county commissioners. I have served as president as well as the board of educations and board of elders within Redeemer Lutheran Church.
I married Sue (Evans) Conley. She is currently a retired preschool teacher from Presby Preschool. We have three children: Nathan Conley works at Lake City Bank. His wife Leslie (Custer) Conley is a stay-at-home mom. Amanda (Conley) Esterline is currently an adjunct professor with Grace College while being a stay-at-home mom. Her husband, Adam Esterline works in the wealth management department at Lake City Bank. Nelson Conley is a barber with me on the South Buffalo Street location. His wife, Kaila (Grimm) Conley works at Community Animal Hospital. Bob and Sue enjoy spending time with their children and five grandchildren.
I appreciate your continued support in the May primary. Let’s keep a good thing going!
Respectfully,
Robert M. (Bob) Conley
