WARSAW — The times for Warsaw Police Captain Clay Layne’s funeral and viewing have been set.

According to information from the Warsaw Police Department, his funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Road.

That will be preceded by a public viewing at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of the service. His burial follows the service at Oakwood Cemetery.

The WPD will release a procession route to the public once it has been finalized.

Layne, 52, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, following being hospitalized for a health emergency. He was a 26-year veteran of the WPD.
