PIERCETON — Aludyne hopes to provide quality automotive parts to its customers.
“Our goal is to provide lightweighting solutions for the automotive industry and make aluminum castings that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations,” said the company’s Pierceton location Plant Manager Flint Miller.
The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting for that location at 5 Arnolt Drive on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Aludyne acquired the former Shiloh Industries earlier this year.
There are about 175 employees, with Miller noting the company still can fill 25-30 spots. The parts Aludyne makes are for vehicle transmission housing, and it sells them to major companies like Honda and GM.
Miller also added Aludyne is aiming to be more green.
“And overall the company is growing into the electric market as well and trying to do anything to stay green and protect the environment,” he said.
