WABASH – A pair of Valley volleyball stars were among the First Team All-Three Rivers Conference award winners for the 2021 season.

Defensive specialist Brayden Baney and outside hitter Mallory Durkes were among the 14 named to the First Team by the conference. Valley finished 7-2 in the final standings, sitting in third behind champion Southwood (9-0) and Wabash (8-1). Making Honorable Mention for the Vikings, which each team gets one player, was middle hitter Mackaylie Costello.

The Knights had Allie Haecker, Marissa Metzger and Alaina Winer named First Team and Mya Denney as Honorable Mention. The Apaches had Ashylnn Cruz and Faryn Morris named All-TRC and Jade Stumbo as Honorable Mention.

Completing the First Team All-TRC were Audra Brandenburg of Whitko (2-7), Emily Hughes and Alexa Kouskousakis of Rochester (5-4), Lilly Maple, Averi Miller and Taylor Roesler of Maconaquah (5-4), and Cate Wolfe of Peru (4-5).

Honorable Mentions went to Emily Pennington of Northfield (3-6), Paxton Baker of Manchester (1-8), Kaiden Hanley of North Miami (1-8), Alyssa Burner of Maconaquah, Casidy Bartel of Peru, Kylie Houston of Rochester and Reese Bradford of Whitko.
