Paperwork Recaps Cases Of Six Snared In Recent Drug Sweep

WARSAW — Affidavits of probable cause have been filed for six people who are facing drug dealing charges.
Thomas Daniel Rensberger, 45, 920 Anchorage Road Lot 96, Warsaw, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony.
Sometime in May, the NET43 Drug Task Force made a controlled purchase of 3.8 grams of methamphetamine from Rensberger.
Scott Eugene Walter, 47, 597 S. Old SR 13 Lot 13, Pierceton, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 4 felonies; and two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 6 felonies.
Sometime in May, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 3.2 grams of methamphetamine from Walter. In June, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 2.7 grams of methamphetamine from Walter.
Crystal D. Butler, 44, 105 S. James St., Milford, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine and dealing methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, all level 4 felonies; dealing methamphetamine and three counts of dealing methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, all level 5 felonies; three counts of possession of methamphetamine, all level 6 felonies; and two counts of dealing methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, both level 3 felonies.
Sometime in June, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 3.3 grams of methamphetamine from Butler. Also in June, NET43 made a second controlled purchase of 3.3 grams of methamphetamine from Butler. She also sold 0.8 grams of methamphetamine to an undercover officer in July.
Butler was previously convicted of dealing cocaine in 2007 and dealing methamphetamine in 2015; both convictions happened in Elkhart County.
Austin Lamarr McQuiller, 27, 3966 E. 300N, Warsaw, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; dealing methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 3 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; and possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 5 felony.
Sometime in August, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 16.1 grams of methamphetamine from McQuiller. Also in August, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 4.2 grams of methamphetamine from McQuiller; during that exchange, a child was present when McQuiller dealt drugs.
Mona Lisa Obando, a.k.a. Mona Niles, 56, 1014 N. Huntington St., Syracuse, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
Sometime in August, NET43 made a controlled purchase of more than 28 grams of methamphetamine from Obando. On Aug. 24, officers obtained consent to search Obando’s home. Obando provided officers with a pill bottle that contained marijuana cigarette butts and two metal grinders with plant residue.
Ian M. Rodden, 43, 105 S. James St., Milford, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 4 felonies; and two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 6 felonies.
Sometime in October, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 2.5 grams of methamphetamine from Rodden. Also in October, NET43 made a controlled purchase of 3.6 grams of methamphetamine from Rodden.
All six were arrested during NET43’s recent multi-agency warrant blitz on Oct. 27 and 28.
