Free Movie Matinee For Kids At North Webster Public Library
News Release
NORTH WEBSTER — As the year winds down, so does Baby and Toddler Time at North Webster Community Public Library. The last session will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, with plans to start it up again in February. It’s a fun time of parents and care givers exploring books, stories and songs with their baby or toddler. Watch the library’s website www.nweb.lib.in.us and Facebook page for February start-up date.
Bring the kids for a free movie matinee at the library 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30. The youth department will be showing a 1975 comedy western about three orphans, whose favorite dessert is apple dumplings, who strike gold in California and team up with a comedy duo of would-be outlaws. Bring your own drinks and enjoy free treats while watching this hilarious G-rated family movie.
While in the youth department, be sure to grab a take-home reindeer craft. When completed, post a photo of your child and their completed craft on the library’s Facebook page or email it to [email protected] and your child will be entered in the monthly drawing for a chance to win a free book.
Due to the county’s red status for Covid infections and the immense popularity of Mark’s Ark Live Animal Show, the library feels it is in the best health interest of patrons to cancel the event originally scheduled for Dec. 29. The library hopes to re-schedule this popular event soon.
The library will close early at 5 p.m.Thursday, Dec. 30 and remain closed New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. We will re-open at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3.
