Helen I. Warren

Helen I. Warren, 95, Atwood, passed at 8:57 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.

Helen was born on Feb. 12, 1926, in Columbia City, to the late Frank and Bertha (Hambleton) Long. She married on Feb. 18, 1944, in Columbia City, to Ora Warren Jr., who preceded her in death Feb. 10, 2001.

Helen was an Avon Sales Representative for over 15 years as well as a homemaker. She loved gardening, crocheting, and crafting. Her yard was so beautiful, people would stop just to admire it. She also was known for her award winning dresses she would make for dolls.

She is survived by her son Dan and wife Tina Warren of Warsaw; daughter-in-law Diane Warren of Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and a sister Elsie Oliver of Fort Wayne.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ora, son Jerry Warren, sisters Blanche Warren, Grace King, and Ruth Tucker, and a brother Frank Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 31, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana with Pastor Dave Cox officiating.

The interment will in the Harrison Center (Wooden) Cemetery of rural Etna Green, Indiana next to her husband.

Visitation hours will be from 10-11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 31, at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
