WARSAW – The City of Warsaw announced the opening of a warming center during the upcoming cold spell.

A warming center at Fellowship Missions, 1520 Winona Ave., is open this week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Check-in for new individuals for the overnight warming center is from 1-4 p.m. each day, according to a news release from the city on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

Temperatures are expected to fall through today to an overnight low of about 9.

Gusty winds through tonight are expected to push the wind chill to below zero.
