PIERCETON — One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck outside Pierceton.

It happened near CR 500E and Wooster Road. Emergency responders were called to the scene about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.

According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy, the driver of the vehicle went off the roadway and “lost control.” His vehicle then turned over.

The driver of the vehicle was transported by ambulance with unknown injuries. The deputy confirmed that a medical helicopter was called out, but transport was denied for an unknown reason.

Also responding to the scene were the Pierceton Fire Department and Lutheran EMS.
