JeNelle Marie Utter — UPDATED
JeNelle Marie Utter, 48, Leesburg, died at 3:33 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at her home.
She was born June 3, 1973, in St. Ignace, Mich., to Donald Ralph & Joyce Elizabeth (Stayer) Taylor.
She attended Warsaw Community High School and was married on April 4, 2017 in El Paso, Colo., to Walter William “Bill” Utter; he survives.
She was employed at Lucky’s Tavern in North Webster for several years and formerly worked at Turtle Top in New Paris. She lived most of her life in the Warsaw/North Webster area and formerly lived in Michigan and Flora.
JeNelle was the youngest of four and enjoyed each day to its fullest. Her hands were never idle and dust never settled under her feet. She was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her husband and friends and being out on their boat. However, her pride and joy were her 12 grandchildren.
Additional survivors include, two daughters, TiKayla (Jacob) Hamilton, South Bend, and Marinel Gilliam, Warsaw; two sons, Leyon Gilliam Jr., Warsaw, and Chevy (Ashley) Gilliam, Port Republic, N.J.; 12 Grandchildren – Ashlynn, Bentley, Georgia, Carter, Madison, Devora, Grace, Isaac, Jasper, Anakin, Eden, and Keziah; mother, Joyce Taylor, Warsaw; stepmother, Lee Taylor; sister, Loni Taylor, Holland, Mich.; two brothers, Don (Sherri) Taylor, Warsaw and John Taylor, Covington, Ohio; halfsister, Maribeth (John) Hocking, Warsaw; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family; and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Kelley officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw.
