Region Could See A Foot Of Snow By Thursday Morning

WARSAW – Upward of a foot of snow is being predicted for parts of north central Indiana by Thursday morning, Feb. 3.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from Tuesday through Thursday and predicts travel will likely become very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will likely significantly reduce visibility with large snowdrifts over open areas Thursday.
Conditions are expected to begin to worsen by early Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, highs will reach the lower 40s before rain begins and changes to a wintery mix by night.
Snowfall on Wednesday could range from 6-14 inches, the weather service said.
Wednesday’s high and low will be 31 and 18.
More snow is expected Thursday and the weather service warns there could be widespread blowing snow.
Thursday’s high will be 21 and the low will fall to 4.
Wind chill temperatures will be in the single digits Thursday and below zero Thursday night.
