Prayer Event Saturday In Warsaw Aims To Support Ukraine
News Release
WARSAW — The Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association is organizing a public prayer gathering to support Ukraine and call for peace.
The event will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
An invasion of Ukraine by Russia began Thursday, Feb. 24, after weeks of speculation and advanced condemnation from the US and other NATO countries.
The local gathering will be at the Center Street side of the courthouse.
The prayer gathering is intended to be a time to support the government and people of Ukraine to defend liberty in their land, a news release from GWMA said.
It is an “appeal to Heaven” that tyranny around the world will be opposed and that peace will prevail. It is a plea for renewal and revival in America and around the world.
