Linda R. Prater

Linda R. Prater, 73, Winona Lake, died at 8:16 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.

She was born on May 13, 1948, in Adrian, Mich., to Oliver & Roxie (Holbrook) Prater.

She grew up in Michigan, graduated from Adrian High School, and attended beauty school in Michigan. She moved to the Warsaw/Winona Lake area in the 1970’s and retired from R.R. Donnelley after 30 plus years.

She was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Pierceton where she formerly served as church treasurer.

She is survived by: a son, Adam (Misty) Prater of Claypool; three grandchildren; sister, Rebecca (Jim) Hubbard, Frankfort, Ky.; and brother, Jesse (Stephanie) Butler, Canton, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place at the Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh St., Pierceton, with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
