Elda Mae Bernita Eppley, 84, LaFontaine, passed away at 10:44 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born Jan. 5, 1938.

She married Richard Dean Eppley on March 10, 1955. He passed away on Feb. 25, 2013.

Elda is survived by two sons, William (Laura) Eppley of Wabash; and Curtis (Malina) Eppley of Haymarket, Va.; one daughter, Tona Rose Earhart of Wabash; three sisters: Belva Jean Mooner of Tuson, Ariz.; Rita Maria Showers of Middleton, Wisc.; and Cheryla Rae Breakfield of Inner Grove Heights, Minn.; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband; Richard, two sons; Timothy and Rick Eppley, one grandson; Garth Eppley, and three brothers.
