ROCHESTER – Indiana Department of Transportation announced plans to temporarily close SR 17 between C.R. 700 N and CR 600N /Olson Road beginning Wednesday, April 6, weather permitting.

The bridge over the Tippecanoe River will be closed through late April for a bridge deck maintenance project. Motorists should seek an alternate route.

The official detour will follow State Road 14, U.S. 31 and State Road 110.
