ELKHART — An early morning traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road on April 11, resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia by the Indiana State Police.
At 3:46 a.m. Monday, April 11, Trooper Luis Alvarez stopped a tan 2005 Mercury for a traffic violation as it traveled east on the Indiana Toll Road near the 90 mile marker. This is about two miles west of the Elkhart exit.

With no valid drivers present, the Mercury was impounded. Drug paraphernalia was discovered during an inventory of the Mercury. A subsequent search revealed about 33 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, 10 syringes, and pills.
Garner was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, driving while suspended – prior, and the active warrant. She was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
Beadle was taken to an area hospital after an apparent medical episode, requiring Emergency Medical Technicians respond to the scene. The male passenger was released from the scene.
Beadle was released from the hospital on Tuesday, April 12, and taken to the Elkhart County Jail. She was arrested for possession of a narcotic drug, possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a syringe, and identity deception, as well as for the active warrant out of St. Joseph County.
