SILVER LAKE — The body of a missing Claypool man was found on Tuesday, April 19, in Loon Lake.

According to information from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, KCSO detectives found the body of Dustin Cloud, 34, face down in shallow water along the north side of Loon Lake in southern Kosciusko County, near Silver Lake.

The body was transported by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office to the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center in Fort Wayne for autopsy. No evidence of significant injury was noted during the autopsy. The cause and manner of death is pending further investigation and toxicology results.

Fingerprints from the body were used to identify Cloud. He had been reported missing to the KCSO by his family on March 16.
