Lilly Center Hosts Wildflower Hike May 14

WINONA LAKE – The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams is hosting Expedition: Wildflowers on Saturday, May 14, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at Wildwood Acres Land Trust, 409 SR 14, Silver Lake.
Gavin King, a caretaker at Wildwood, will be leading the expedition. Interested parties are invited to join in a 90-minute wildflower and wetland plant species hike. During the walk, participants will learn how to identify species and what they contribute to local wetland habitats.
Binoculars and cameras are welcome! A picnic lunch and Q-and-A will be provided by the Lilly Center after the hike. RSVP at wildflowerhike.eventbrite.com.
