COLYN IDEN, Warsaw Fire Department — The smashburgers here are pretty good. We flatten them super thin on our big flattop grill. I am learning from the other guys how to do it. The secret is to fry them where the edge is just a little bit crusty, and then butter the buns and toast them on the grill.
