WARSAW — A male patient was transported to the hospital by helicopter following a single-vehicle wreck on the edge of Warsaw.
First responders were called out the accident about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 4. It occurred just north of 3340 N. 150W, Warsaw.
A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy at the scene said that the Lexus car involved in the wreck overturned during the accident. He couldn’t comment on the extent of the patient’s injuries.
The patient was taken by Lutheran ambulance to Madison Elementary School where a Parkview helicopter had landed to transport him. The helicopter was unable to land closer to the scene in a nearby field as the ground there was too soft, said another KCSO deputy at the scene.
Also assisting at the scene were the Warsaw Police Department and Plain Township Fire Department.
