Velma Austin, 81, Logansport, died May 5, 2022.

She was born Nov. 9, 1940

She married Billy Austin Oct. 21, 1959; he survives.

Surviving with her husband of 62 years, Billy Austin, are three children, Alrita (Kent) Morehead and Greg (Tina) Austin, both of Logansport and James (Karma) Austin, Washington, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Boyd, Tipton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
