Warsaw Schools Summer Food Program Details Announced

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools staff have announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under, and to persons over 18 years of age who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all participants. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis at the following sites, days and times listed below. The listed meals are only available Mondays through Fridays.
- Winona Lake Park, 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake; and Bixler Park at Center Lake, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw
- June 6 through July 1 and July 11 to 29; no meals July 4 through 8 and on July 19
- Meal Types Served: lunch – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Lincoln Elementary School, 203 N. Lincoln St., Warsaw
- June 6 to 24
- Meal Types Served: breakfast – 8:15-8:30 a.m.; lunch – 12:15-12:30 p.m.
- Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw
- Aug. 3
- Meal Types Served: breakfast – 8-9 a.m.
