ALBION — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of SR 109 between Wolf Lake and Columbia City.

Crews will be replacing a culvert pipe between CR 475S and East CR 400S. Work is expected to start on or after June 6 with work expected to last until June 13. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of US 33, SR 9 and US 30, or seek an alternate route.

INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety and slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
