Flood Watch Continues; More Rain Expected

WARSAW — Much of north central Indiana is under a flood watch through Wednesday night, July 6.
More rain is expected today and tonight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain, the National Weather Service predicts.
The chance of precipitation is 90%. Wednesday’s high will be near 85.
Some storms could have what the weather service describes as “torrential rainfall” with rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour.
Thunderstorms could bring isolated damaging wind gusts. The strongest chance for strong to severe storms is south of U.S. 30, the weather service said.
The flood watch for much of northern Indiana will continue through Wednesday night.
The low will be around 67.
The chance of rain continues Thursday, July 7, with a high of 84. More thunderstorms are possible Thursday night. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
Another chance of rain continues on Friday, July 8, and Friday night, the weather service said.
