Ivy Tech Selects New Director Of Marketing, Communications

FORT WAYNE — Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw has selected Jessica Neuenschwander as its new executive director of marketing and communications.
She assumed her role Aug. 1. Neuenschwander will serve as a chief advisor to Chancellor Kim Barnett-Johnson, Ph.D., and provide leadership, oversight and direction to all public relations and marketing and communications activities for Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw and the 11 counties of northeast Indiana.
“I’m excited that my new position will allow me to work closely with Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw campus leaders, students, staff and faculty,” said Neuenschwander. “I love being part of an institution that cares about helping our students reach their educational and career goals, whether it’s starting a new career or getting a hard-earned promotion. The work we do in higher education strengthens northeast Indiana communities and our workforce, and I’m grateful to be part of it.”
Neuenschwander will also serve as liaison between Ivy Tech Fort Wayne/Warsaw and central marketing staff for coordinated projects, reporting, procedure development and campaign structure and development.

Neuenschwander was promoted to her new position from that of assistant director of communications and media in the Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw marketing and communications office. She has been with the college since 2018. Before she began at Ivy Tech, Neuenschwander held various roles at Purdue University Fort Wayne, ITT Technical Institute and Western Michigan University.
She earned a master’s degree in English literature from Western Michigan University in 2012 and bachelor’s degrees in psychology in 2007 and English in 2010 from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. Neuenschwander grew up in Wells County and graduated from Norwell High School.
