Judy Alfano — UPDATED
Judith T. Alfano, known to most as “Judy,” 83, Warsaw, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022. She was at home in Warsaw, surrounded by the family she loved dearly.
Born March 3, 1939, Judy was the daughter of the late Lloyd W. Williams and the late Wava D. (Tyler) Williams. She was a 1957 graduate of Goshen High School and a 1959 graduate of Western Michigan University. On Aug. 22, 1959, Judy was married to Stuart J. Alfano. Stuart and Judy shared more than 43 years together before Stuart’s passing in February 2003.
A compassionate, caring person, Judy loved raising her two boys and being a part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. She was joyful, positive and always had a good sense of humor. She loved traveling, boating and sunbathing — especially on Lake Tippecanoe. Most of all, she loved her family and she loved people as she was incredibly social and rarely knew a stranger.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include two sons, Mark (Michelle) Alfano, Warsaw and Greg Alfano, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Brandon Alfano, Aaron Alfano, Kassie Wheeler, Amber Alfano and Tristan Alfano; four stepgrandchildren, Hailey England, Jeremy Lee, Evan McKinley and Ashton McKinley; and great-grandchildren, Miranda, Makenna, Hayden, Bentley, Fletcher, Maverick, Brandon and Logan. She was also quite excited to be welcoming an eighth great-grandchild to the family; baby Olivia is expected to make her appearance soon. Judy was preceded in passing by her husband, Stuart Alfano and stepbrother, Bruce Anglemyer.
Judy’s arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. Friends may gather there from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. A Life Celebration will be held for Judy at 11:30 a.m.
