WARSAW — Downtown Warsaw was lively Saturday night, with two local events providing delicious brews, fantastic food, and exciting entertainment to those who decided to join in on the festivities.
Kosciusko Kettleheads hosted their 11th annual HomeBrewFest on Sept. 24, with ticket proceeds for the event benefitting Combined Community Services. Those who participated in tastings were able to sample more than three dozen beers and ciders, all locally made.
As HomeBrewFest took place under a large tent on Buffalo Street, One Warsaw and Todos Juntos hosted La Fiesta del Barrio, a neighborhood party, nearby. The party’s theme focused on National Hispanic Heritage Month. Entertainment for the evening included Ballet Folklorico, Collier’s School of Dance and Omotayo Rite of Passage.
Food selections at the party were tacos, popsicles, and Mexican street corn, as well as treats from a piñata.
