Black Pine Animal Sanctuary Open On Weekends In October
News Release
ALBION — Black Pine Animal Sanctuary in Albion recently announced they are opening the doors for general admission from 1-4 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 29, and Sundays, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, during the month of October.
This is an opportunity for the public to come visit with the keepers, the volunteers and the animals before they close the sanctuary to the public for the winter.
Hours are limited. Black Pine will be open to the general public Saturdays and Sundays during the month of October from 1-4 p.m. General admission rates apply.
The gift shop will be open for early holiday shopping during those hours. There is no food for purchase on the grounds, and there are no indoor public buildings, so attendees should dress and plan their trip accordingly.
Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is the only accredited multi-species animal sanctuary in the Midwest. Home to over 80 animals representing 50 different species, Black Pine exists to provide refuge for displaced captive-raised animals.
