Warsaw Parks Department Plans Several Fall Events

WARSAW — The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department has several upcoming fall-related events.
From 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Lucerne Park, 800 N. Park Ave., the department will have the free event, Fall Family Fun. It includes hayrides, storytellers, crafts, snacks and more. A new edition will include a child friendly haunted cabin.
Also new this year will be shaved ice, kettle corn and pumpkins, gourds and other fall decor for sale.
The department is also offering a ceramic pumpkin bank craft. Each ceramic kit is $7 and includes the ceramic piece, paint and paint brush.
Registration for the craft runs through Friday, Oct. 14, or until filled. It may be done by going to https://secure.rec1.com/IN/warsaw-in/catalog.
Kits may be picked up at the parks main office, 800 N. Park Ave., one business day after purchase. The last day for kit pickup is Friday, Oct. 21.
