Margarita Del Carmen Maldonado Patino

Margarita Del Carmen Maldonado Patino, 53, Warsaw, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at Parkview Regional, Fort Wayne. Margarita was born April 28, 1969, in Apaseo el Alto, Mexico, the daughter of Alberto Maldonado Rodriguez and Margarita Patino Rico.

A cancer survivor, Margarita was known as a fighter and a strong, independent woman. With her positivity, sociable personality and sense of humor, she enjoyed motivating everyone she met and bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Margarita had a strong faith, and attending church was important. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

Margarita will be deeply missed by her children, Jose Maldonado, Jasmine Mendoza and Juan Bernal; grandson, Salvador Santiago; and siblings, Jose (Margarita) Patino, Maria Cisneros, Alberto Maldonado and Javier Maldonado. She was preceded in death by her best friend, Juan Manuel Bernal and her mother.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, is entrusted with the care of Margarita. Friends may gather for a funeral mass at noon Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr., Warsaw. A visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. the same day at the funeral home.
