WINONA LAKE — The Winona Lake Trail Fest, a fundraiser for the future Winona Lake Bike Park, is set for this weekend.

The event is presented by K21 Health Foundation and Bikereg.com and organized by KCV Cycling Club.

All activities will be at the Hauth Trailhead where the future bike park will be developed.

Activities begin Friday night, Oct. 14, with a campout and lots of activities on Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16.

Saturday night activities include live music, food trucks and a beer garden.

Organizers say that while races will be scored and have prizes, the goal is to have fun and not take things too seriously.

“This is a fun community fundraising event, thus scoring will not be done professionally, and may require participant involvement and a level of honor code/trust,” the group said in a statement on Facebook.
