WARSAW — Now that you have your work done and the evening is setting in, make your way to the north gate at Warsaw Airport off CR 300N, across from The Dells, and help “Flight For The Fight: Raising Awareness” for Rochelle Devenney and other families battling sarcoma cancer.
Activities continue until 8 p.m. in one of the hangers or if you enjoy the fall weather, you can enjoy activities outdoors. Food, such as cheeseburgers/lamburgers, hot dogs, chili, ice cream are available.
The Corn Hole Tournament will continue until 5 p.m. followed by a Kids Costume Contest from 5-5:30 p.m. The spookiest costume won’t leave empty handed.
The evening will conclude with Club House Games (Texas Holdem) from 5:30-8 p.m. Reserve a seat at the table to guarantee a spot. Prizes will be awarded for the top three players.
The airplane and helicopter fly-in will also continue until 8 p.m. The runway will be open for all friends in the sky. Check out the aviation community and airplanes up close. Talk to a pilot and satisfy some of those questions about life in the clouds.
There’s a bounce house for the kids, which has been a big hit.
Several items and experiences are being auctioned off including a discovery flight from Eagle Aircraft Flight Academy and a weekend at Forest Ridge Campground.
Come out and enjoy the evening and show the Devenney Family and all those fighting sarcoma cancer you are in their corner.
Earlier in the day three-rounds of musical chairs was held with each round winner walking away with spectacular prizes. Additionally there was The Cancer to the Curb Car and Bike Show from 1-4 p.m. with a variety of motorcycles and vehicles on display.
There is a $10 admission at the gate.
