Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 8:08 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, one CR 450N 2000 feet west of CR 375E outside of Warsaw. Driver: Cecelia Baist, 18, 151 EMS C29A Lane, Warsaw. Moped driver left the road and struck a utility pole. Baist was taken to a hospital for injuries. Damage up $10,000.
• 10:35 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, on SR 25 150 feet west of Apple Road near Mentone. Drivers: Kala Salita, 36, Poplar Drive, Rochester; Amy Harty, 49, CR 100S, Warsaw. Vehicle was rear-ended. Damage up to $25,000.
• 6:44 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, on SR 15 100 feet south of CR 800N, outside of Leesburg. Driver: Roberta Craig, 49, Emeline Road, Milford. Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:17 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, on Old Road 30 500 feet west of CR 600W outside of Warsaw. Driver: Sherri Nelson, 61, CR 800W, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 5:56 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, on CR 700S 100 feet east of CR 400W outside of Claypool. Driver: Debbie Gibson, 54, CR 100S, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 12:04 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, on Armstrong Road 200 feet from CR North 75E outside of Leesburg. Driver: Sarah Lipscomb, 39, Bob-O-Link Drive, Muncie.  Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $5,000
• 7:36 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, on CR 175E, just a few feet of East Ridge Valley Drive near Warsaw. Driver: Janet Barden, 80, East Harvest Ridge Lane, Warsaw. Driver accidentally turned off the headlights, left the road and sideswiped a utility pole. Damages up to $5,000.
• 5:33 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, on SR 15 north of XR 1300S. Matthew Bonewitz, 41, North CR 275E, North Manchester. Motorcyclist hit a deer. Bonewitz was taken to a hospital with a shoulder injury. Damages up to $10,000.
• 2:02 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, on a private drive in the 4300 block of East CR 1000N, near Syracuse. Drivers: Loren Hershberger, 64 CR 1000N, Syracuse; Parked vehicle registered to Hershberger. Damages up to $5,000.
• 3:07 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, on US 30 near CR 700W outside of Warsaw. Driver: Troy Vande Yacht, 50, Orchard Court, Muskego, Wis. Vehicle struck deer. Damages up to $5,000.
• 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, on SR 15, 1,000 feet north of CR 700S near Claypool. Driver: Justin Weaver, 40, Tulip Tree Drive, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 5:38 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, on SR 13, a few feet south of Backwater Road near North Webster. Driver: Mikaela Till, 25, CR 100W, Claypool. Vehicle hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 12:29 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, SR 15 near mile marker 1335 near Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley Sahlhoff 28, SR 13,  North Manchester; Medina Bautista, 44, 141 Street Place, Blue Island, Ill. Vehicles collided when driver was making a turn.  Damage up to $2.500.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

• 4:16 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, East CR 300N and North CR 450E, Rochester. Driver: Kyle D. Johnson, 26, Argos. Johnson’s truck was run off the road and struck some trees.
