WARSAW — A professional services agreement for audio and video equipment at Center Lake Pavilion was approved during a Nov. 4 Board of Public Works and Safety meeting in Warsaw.

The contract, totaling $125,645.83, is with All Pro Integrated Systems, Florida. City Engineer Aaron Ott said the equipment is very user-friendly.

“We’ve been for the past several months having a series of meetings to formulate the vision for the pavilion and what technology we think is necessary at the front end to operate that space the way we feel it’s to be operated,” said Ott. “It’s to accommodate (wedding) receptions, training sessions, all the stuff the city has always done there, plus more.”

Ott said the equipment includes a main room audio system with a large projection screen and projector, speakers, and a small lighting system.

The agreement will also provide system training for park employees and one year of preventative maintenance.

Warsaw Parks Superintendent Larry Plummer said the cost will be covered by the parks department.

In other business, the board also approved a diesel fuel bid from Ceres Solutions for Warsaw’s street department. Ceres Solutions’ bid was the only one the city received for diesel fuel. Prices are $3.6388 per gallon for on-road diesel, $3.742 for off-road diesel, and $3.733 for ethanol-free gasoline.

The board also:

• Approved a fee agreement and employment letter for 2022 legal services provided by Beers Mallers LLP for Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory.
• Approved an on-call engineering services agreement for 2023 with Wessler Engineering for the city’s wastewater utility, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.

The board’s next meeting is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Warsaw City Hall.
