County Extension Homemakers Have Holiday Program
News Release
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers had their annual Holiday Program with the theme, “Oh Fudge…It’s Christmas,” on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds’ Home and Family Arts Building.
Sixty-six extension homemakers and guests attended the day-long program planned by the Merry Tones Extension Homemakers.
During the event, the group was entertained and educated by the mother/daughter duo Marvene Johnson, extension homemaker member, and Amy Johnson-Rumschlag, Adams County extension educator. They shared several of their favorite fudge recipes along with lots of helpful fudge making tips.
Suzy Earl of Merry Tones shared how to turn inexpensive household containers into festive candy containers for gift giving. Martha Klinger, also a Merry Tones member, guided everyone in making three different crafts to take home.
Snacks and lunch were provided by Tippecanoe Township and Herscher Extension Homemaker clubs.
The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers program is open to anyone interested in education, leadership development and volunteer community support and is affiliated with Purdue Extension Service.
