Bell Memorial Public Library Announces Upcoming Events

MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The library’s staff would like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Seniors ages 55 and older are invited to attend Movie Monday at 1 p.m. Nov. 21, in the library’s large conference room. The feature film will be “High Society,” which is a 1956 American musical romantic comedy film directed by Charles Walters and starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra. Popcorn and water will be provided free for anyone wishing to attend. Please contact Billie Abalos at (574) 893-3200 for more information.
Creative Corner for adults ages 18 and older will take place from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the library’s large conference room. This month, participants can make a fall luminary using mason jars, stencils and paint. Cost is $5, and sign up is required to hold your spot. Junior Book Club (ages 8-12 years old) will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the library’s Young Adult room. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend with them. This is a free program.
