Groundbreaking Ceremony To Kick Off The Tippecanoe-Chapman Lakes Septic Elimination Project
News Release
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Tippecanoe and Chapman Regional Sewer District is excited to kick off the construction phase of its unprecedented sewer project with a groundbreaking ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, to celebrate the beginning of construction.
The ceremony will begin at Pump Station number 2 located directly across the street from the Oswego Community Center, 3016 Rader Road, Warsaw. A reception will follow at the Oswego Community Center.
This $51 million project is one of the largest – if not the largest – infrastructure projects to occur in Kosciusko County. The project was funded through Indiana State Revolving Fund loan program and United States Department of Agriculture – Rural Development.
A lot has happened over the past 24 months to get to this point, with many people and organizations involved including the District Board Members, Tippecanoe Lakes Property Owners Association and the Chapman Lake Property Owners Association. This groundbreaking will be a chance for everyone to gather and commemorate the project efforts.
Construction of this infrastructure project will take 18-24 months and is expected to be completed in 2024.
