MILFORD — Milford Public Library is accepting donations for the Van Buren Township Food Pantry until Dec. 30. The library has a list of most requested or needed items. There are donation boxes in the adult and children’s area of the library.

The Van Buren Township Food Pantry is located at Milford First Brethren Church, 110 W. Catherine St. (back alley at the gym entrance). Pantry hours are 2-5 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.

Adult Reading Program

The annual Adult Reading Program begins Jan. 3. This year’s theme is “All Together Now.” Just sign up at the adult circulation desk and enter a weekly drawing for each book you read or audio book you listen to. Anyone age 18 or older can join the program. Stop by the library for more information.

Milford Public Library will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24, for Christmas Eve; Monday, Dec. 26, for Christmas Day; Saturday, Dec. 31, for New Year’s Eve; and Monday, Jan. 2, for New Year’s Day. The staff wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season with family and friends.
