Kimberly A. Boyer
Kimberly A. Boyer, 52, rural Mentone, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, with her husband by her side at their home in Mentone.
Kim was born June 2, 1970, in Rochester, to the late Allison Jr. and Sharlene Kay (Shull) Haimbaugh. She married on March 25, 2000, in the Izaak Walton League of Argos, to D. Kevin Boyer; he survives.
Kim was a 1988 graduate of Rochester High School. She had been a longtime clerk for D.R. Smith Trucking of Akron. She kept the farm books for the family farm and was the caregiver for her parents until the time of their death.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Kevin Boyer, Mentone; brothers Neal Haimbaugh, Culver and twin Kenneth Haimbaugh, Rochester; father and mother-in-law Donald and Carol Boyer, Mentone; nieces and nephews Joshua (Hannah) Haimbaugh, Anthony “A.J.” Haimbaugh (Smiley), Hayden Haimbaugh (Nicole), Isaac Haimbaugh, Abigail Haimbaugh (fiancé Kyle Corn) and Hanna Haimbaugh; uncles Bill (Karen) Shull and Spencer (Cathy) Shull; and an aunt, Dana Nichols.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents Allison Sr. and Dorthea Haimbaugh and Paul and Opal Shull.
The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at King Memorial Home 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with brother-in-law the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
The interment will take place following the service in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
Visitation hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.
