Food Bank Of Northern Indiana To Hold Local Distribution Events

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced six food distribution events this January in a few area counties, including Kosciusko.
Anyone in need of food assistance is encouraged to attend. Distributions are done via drive-thru, so remain in your vehicle with your trunk open to receive items. If your trunk does not open, there will be a designated area for self-loading.
The events operate on a first come first serve basis while supplies last. All food items are free of charge, pre-boxed and pre-bagged.
Elkhart County

10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Jan. 12, East Goshen Mennonite Church, 2019 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen. This distribution will serve 200 households.
Kosciusko County

Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, God’s Highway to Heaven, 555 Weber St., Warsaw. This distribution is primarily produce and will serve 300 households.
Marshall County
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, Plymouth Parks pool parking lot, 1660 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. This distribution will serve 300 households.
St. Joseph County
- 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, Brown Middle School, 737 Beale St., South Bend. This distribution will serve 250 households.
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, Liberty Elementary School, 600 Pregel Drive, Mishawaka. This distribution will serve 300 households.
Starke County

9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, Knox United Methodist Church, 201 S. Shield St., Knox. This is a USDA distribution and will serve 250 households.
