Judy Kaye Lybarger
Judy Kaye Lybarger, 79, rural Claypool, died at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at her residence in Claypool.
Judy was born June 19, 1943, in Hartford City, to the late Wright Carson and Wilma Jeanette (Garver) Payne. She married on Jan. 3, 1962, in Watervliet, Mich., to Jon C. Lybarger; he survives. They were married 61 years.
She was a graduate of Hartford City High School. Judy was a homemaker and a mother, taking great care of her family. She loved serving the Lord and attended Faith Outreach of Rochester. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, canning and cooking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Jon Lybarger, Claypool; children Michael (Charlene) Lybarger, Edwardsville, Ill., Gregory (Holly) Lybarger, Lincoln, Maine, Patrick Lybarger, Claypool, Lisa (Mark) Demske, Claypool, Daniel Lybarger, Atwood, Jeremy (Krystal) Lybarger, Mentone, Deborah (Dan) Creaghan, Florissant, Mo., Sarah (Mark) Poff, Etna Green, Kat (Kris) Palmer, Iraq, Cassia (Ted) Tuley, Rochester, Joanna (Keith) Egolf, Atwood and Jonathan Lybarger, Claypool; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a brother Dwight (Mary Ann) Payne, Indianapolis.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jessica Lybarger
Memorial visitation hours will be held from 3-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Faith Outreach Center, 1125 E. 9th St., Rochester.
The memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Faith Outreach Center, 1125 E. 9th St., Rochester, with Pastor Terry Baldwin officiating.
Her interment will take place in the Marion National Cemetery of Marion.
