Ruth Vigar, 100, Roann, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at The Waters of Wabash East.

She was born Oct. 14, 1922.

Ruth married Russell J. Vigar on Aug. 22, 1939; he died July 6, 1984.

She is survived by seven children, Sherry (Phil) Draper, Connie (Robert) Kramer, Becky Bogner, Rex (Nancy) Vigar, David Vigar, Mark (Tami) Vigar and Tom Vigar, all of Roann; 176 grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Gene) Johnson, Idaho; and her brother, Roger (Linda) Smith, Richvalley.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, Roann, is in charge of arrangements.
