Meet Your Favorite Characters During “A Magical Day” With Warsaw High School’s Theatre Department

WARSAW — Warsaw Community High School’s theatre department is hosting “A Magical Day” from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center.
Children who attend can take pictures with their favorite characters and make crafts. General admission tickets to the event include photographs with characters, crafts, and stories. VIP tickets include a photo booth featuring Star Wars and Frozen characters, a lanyard, face painting, a pencil box craft, and a snack.
Over 40 characters will be in attendance, including Luke Skywalker, Rey, BB-8, Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella.
Those who attend are encouraged to wear their favorite costume.
Concessions will also be available at the event.
General admission for children is $15 or two for $25. VIP tickets are $25 or two for $40. Parents/guardians attend for free.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the theatre department’s trip to the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington from June 18 to 24. The department’s cast for “Where Words Once Were” by Finegan Kruckemeyer placed first at the Indiana Thespians State Competition with their performance. Twenty students will be attending, with the trip costing $1,000 per student.
