FORT WAYNE — Questa Education Foundation is supporting more scholars from Kosciusko County who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field.

This scholarship is made possible due to continued funding from K21 Health Foundation. Through this partnership, Questa is able to fund graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students, students with some college credit returning to college and adult learners.

Eligible scholars may apply through Questa’s Traditional and Contemporary Scholars Programs, with selected scholars receiving up to $20,000 in forgivable loans over the course of their undergraduate degree programs. Past scholars have pursued degree fields including nursing, pre-pharmacy, dental hygiene, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pre-med, biology and other healthcare programs.

Committed to making postsecondary education more affordable, Questa offers low-interest forgivable loans that are up to 75% forgiven when a student lives and work in Northeast Indiana for five years after graduation and attends a partner school (the full list of partner schools is available at www.questafoundation.org).

Through this partnership, K21 and Questa are not only helping local students achieve their degrees, but also encouraging future healthcare workers to return to the area to support the health and wellness of the community.

The Traditional Scholars Program application is now open to graduating high school seniors and college freshmen through March 15. The Contemporary Scholars Program is open year-round for returning students and adult learners.
