AKRON — Mobilization has started related to Tippecanoe Valley High School’s renovation project.
Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. Superintendent Blaine Conley shared that news at the TVSC Board’s work session on Thursday, Feb. 16.
“You can see the temporary fencing has been set up,” said Conley. “They’ve started to move equipment and materials onsite. They started a little bit of the demolition today on some of the concrete there on the north side of the auxiliary gym, so we’re making progress, getting everything lined up and ready to go.”
Milling work should begin next week, added Conley.
Bids totaling more than $26 million for the project were approved last fall, with the renovation to be financed using bonds making it tax neutral. The project includes a new auditorium, pool renovation and improved space for agriculture studies.
