One Injured In US 30 Accident

PIERCETON — One person was injured after a wreck on U.S. 30 on Friday morning, Feb. 17.
At approximately 8:48 a.m., Lutheran EMS and the Pierceton Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 30 and SR 13, Pierceton.
Pierceton Town Marshal Jim Bumbaugh stated that the driver of a Nissan Sentra had proceeded into the intersection during a red light, causing a collision with a truck.
The driver of the Sentra was entrapped in their vehicle and was transported for medical treatment for a head laceration and complaint of back pain.
Also responding were Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS and Indiana State Police.
