Betty Jean Stowe, 79, Wabash, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, March 5, 2023, at home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1944. On Oct. 5, 1968, she married James L. Stowe, who preceded her in death in 1996.

She is survived by four children, Michael (Vicki) Shircliff, Carmel, Sheila Rossmann, Kokomo, Leila (Mike) Brandt, Roann, and Mark (Deidre) Shircliff, Carmel; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Walker, New Albany.
