Lake City Bank Announces Promotions
WARSAW — Lake City Bank has announced the following promotions.
Chris Wiggins has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial south regional manager. He has been with the bank for 18 years. Wiggins earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Gardner-Webb University. He is a board member of the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation and Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice and Baker Youth Club. Wiggins volunteers as a basketball coach with AGAITAS and Tiger Basketball Academy.
Melissa Blosser has been promoted to first vice president, retail banking regional manager. She has been with the bank for 13 years. Blosser attended Cedarville University and is a graduate of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy. She is a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Habitat for Humanity Inc. and Ryan’s Place. Blosser is a member of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Academy Council. She volunteers with the Greater Elkhart Chamber Leadership Academy, the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Lake City Bank’s Reality Store and teaches Money Smart classes.
Jeannine Cooley, certified regulatory compliance manager, has been promoted to first vice president, CRA compliance and security manager. Cooley has been with the bank for 37 years and is a CRCM. Among other interests, Cooley volunteers with Lincoln Caring Families of Lincoln Elementary in Huntington.
Tim Schlichte has been promoted to first vice president, commercial banking officer. He has been with the bank for 10 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Xavier University. Schlichte also a completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He serves on the board of directors for Indiana Wish.
Reneta Thurairatnam, CFP, CTFA, has been promoted to first vice president, senior wealth advisor, in the bank’s Wealth Advisory Group. She has been with the bank for more than eight years. Thurairatnam has certified financial planner and certified trust and fiduciary advisor certifications. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business economics with a minor in management from Huntington University and a master of business administration degree with a concentration in international business from the University of Saint Francis. Thurairatnam volunteers with Junior Achievement. She is also part of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force at Lake City Bank.
Karina Cervantes has been promoted to vice president, people development officer. She has been with the bank for 11 years. Cervantes earned her bachelor’s degree in business from the International Business College. She is part of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force at Lake City Bank.
Lori Cunningham has been promoted to vice president, retail banking officer, at the bank’s Ligonier Downtown branch. She has been with the bank for 35 years. Cunningham is a member of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
David Curry has been promoted to vice president, commercial banking officer. He has been with the bank for eight years. Curry earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trine University. He is vice president of fund development for Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana. Curry volunteers with Junior Achievement and United Way.
Rich Hoover has been promoted to vice president, director of properties management. He has been with the bank for 11 years. Hoover attended classes through the local chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.
Cari Juillerat has been promoted to vice president, agribusiness banking officer. She has been with the bank for 10 years. Juillerat earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural finance from Purdue University. She is a committee member for Indiana Bankers Association Ag Bankers, a Whitko FFA livestock judging coach and president of Whitley County Young Farmers. Juillerat serves as an advisory board member for the Whitley County 4-H Rabbit Club and volunteers with 4-H programs in Whitley and Kosciusko counties.
Kim Mattke has been promoted to vice president, security administration manager. Mattke has been with the bank for 17 years. She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Jana Miller has been promoted to vice president, retail banking officer at the bank’s Ligonier South branch. She has been with the bank for 28 years. Miller earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hanover College. She is a member of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce, investment committee chair of the Community Foundation of Noble County and finance committee member of Crossroads United Way. Miller volunteers with Junior Achievement.
Sonia Teske has been promoted to vice president, retail banking officer at the bank’s Bremen branch. She has been with the bank for 16 years. Teske is a member of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County, Elkhart County 4-H Fair, Nappanee Power from the Past and the Nappanee Apple Festival.
Diane Wirth has been promoted to vice president, deposit application manager. She has been with the bank for 28 years. She attended Manchester College. Wirth volunteers with Lake City Bank’s Reality Store, Marshall County Resale and Habitat for Humanity.
Mareen Barton has been promoted to assistant vice president, retail banking officer at the bank’s LaGrange branch. She has been with the bank for four years. Barton serves as an ambassador for the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce, finance officer for LaGrange County Arts and is a board member for United Way. Barton volunteers with the LaGrange County Community Foundation, Real Mentors Read and LaGrange Communities Youth Center.
Brooke Bentley has been promoted to assistant vice president, retail banking officer at the bank’s Kendallville branch. She has been with the bank for 24 years. Bentley earned an associate degree in accounting from the International Business College. She is vice president of the Noble County Council on Aging and volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Joe Burtnette has been promoted to assistant vice president, business banking officer. He has been with the bank for six years. Burtnette earned his bachelor’s degree in business finance from Indiana University Fort Wayne.
Chris Himes has been promoted to assistant vice president, ACH electronic banking officer. She has been with the bank for 25 years. Himes earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and her accredited ACH professional certification through the National Automated Clearing House Association. She volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and as a financial literacy mentor for the Learn More Center in North Manchester.
Michele VanZile-Myers has been promoted to assistant vice president, transaction product officer. VanZile-Myers has been with the bank for 28 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ball State University. VanZile-Myers volunteers with Junior Achievement.
Virginia Wirt has been promoted to assistant vice president, senior loan administration officer. She has been with the bank for 18 years. Wirt serves on the board of directors for the Elkhart Kiwanis Club and is board secretary of the Samaritan Center in Elkhart. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and the Salvation Army.
Ashley Bridges has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Indianapolis North branch. She has been with the bank for eight years. Bridges earned an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She is a member of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce.
Janel Burnworth has been promoted to retirement services officer. She has been with the bank for 14 years. Burnworth volunteers with Junior Achievement, Lake City Bank’s Reality Store and Warsaw Community Church.
Lisa Goon has been promoted to retail loan operations officer. Goon has been with the bank for 23 years. She volunteers with Junior Achievement, Lake City Bank’s Reality Store, Kosciusko County 4-H Swine Committee and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
Alma Jimenez has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Goshen South branch. She has been with the bank for eight years. Jimenez earned an associate degree in business administration from Ivy Tech Community College. She serves as an ambassador for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a member of the National Immigration Justice Center Advisory Council. Jimenez volunteers with Junior Achievement and Lake City Bank’s Reality Store.
Erin Martz has been promoted to senior loan administration officer. She has been with the bank for nine years. Martz earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Indiana University. She is treasurer of Indiana Birth Coalition and volunteers with Northwest Hendricks County Schools. She is also a member of the bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.
Nichole Mendez has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Fort Wayne Downtown branch. She has been with the bank for six years.
Chrissy Myer has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Elkhart River District branch. She has been with the bank for 14 years. Myer earned an associate degree in accounting from Southwest Michigan College. She volunteers with Lake City Bank’s Reality Store and teaches Money Smart classes.
Phil Nguyen has been promoted to investment officer. He has been with the bank for six years. Nguyen earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and a bank management certification from Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is a member of the Investment & Wealth Institute (IWI) and Risk Management Association.
Kim Orr has been promoted to retail banking officer at the bank’s Mentone branch. She has been with the bank for 27 years. Orr volunteers with Junior Achievement.
Jackie Stout has been promoted to technology services officer and manager. She has been with the bank for nearly a year. Stout earned an associate degree in computer information systems networking specialist from Ivy Tech Community College.
